Our Helping Hands Group Service Days have been in full swing since Spring arrived. We are so grateful to the many churches and organizations who give their time volunteering during group service day events. These group service days’ support our senior clients with seasonal yard cleanups.
During April and May, Light of the World Church, Keller Chamber Ambassadors, Compass Church held group service day events providing volunteers and Cross Creek Church-Colleyville actually provided multiple service days in April and one day in May.
All of these amazing organizations and volunteers blessed a total of 11 seniors this year, which far exceeds Spring group service events in previous years.
All clients were sincerely grateful, some shed tears, one senior client said all he can offer was “Thank You” which doesn’t seem like enough. All said, “their yards have never looked better!” Their sentiments reflect the impact these volunteers have made.
